How to Strike a Set

To the tune of that Alicia Keys girl on fire song.
So as you may or may not have known, I was scenic charge artist for a show at my school. It turned out really nice (if you follow my instagram-eliainabox- you probably have seen me post pictures of it) and the show closes today with only four days of showings to showcase it. But that’s ok, I get my life back now.
Unfortunately, we can’t use my fire strike plan to get rid of the set. Strike, by the way, is the tearing down of a set and ending a production right after the final show. We tear down the set, put up the props, and arrange and clean the performance space back to how it was before the show was in production. Fun stuff.
