COMMISSION QUESTIONS:

How much do you charge?
Right now, I charge $15/per hour of work I put into your piece.  I am honest with the time it takes. I won’t gyp you.

Do you have examples or a portfolio of your work?
Sure do! I have select jobs I’ve done on my commission gallery page here.

What kind of art do you do?
Almost anything! Birthday, anniversary, baby, special occasion comic specials (web un-published), publicity art, campaign cartoons, pretty much anything with my “Elia in a Box” comic style.

How much do you charge extra for a framed piece?
I no longer do framing. USPS and UPS have a way for not respecting fragile signs so I end up losing business because they aren’t careful. Sorry.

How much do you charge for shipping?
It will all depend on the size of art you order and if it is framed or not. Bigger pieces and framed pieces will have a higher cost. Nothing should exceed $6 dollars shipping.

Can you make the commission digital and not physical for internet and graphic purposes?
Sure! And it’s cheaper. Since there is no shipping or framing, all you will be charged for it the art time. However, there is an agreement that will go along protecting the originality of my work and some requests might be denied if it gets to a point where there will be no credit displayed. (internet-bound art only, that is)

Can I just have a sketch for free?
Sadly, I don’t do those as commissions. However if you come see me at one of  my convention appearances, I would be happy to draw live for you! And it would probably be free too! Plus I draw people in my comic form upon request, and you keep the art! (But I have to take a picture of you with it for my collection!)

Can I use this opportunity for buying myself into a comic?
No. I will not take bribes to be in a comic. Rules are still rules and asking will not get you into a comic unless you do it creatively. And without money. So no.

If you have any pre-order questions, just let me know at eliainabox@yahoo.com!
