Elia in a Box: The Webcomic

Elia in a Box: The Webcomic started in 2009 when I drew a comic as a show gift for a friend, Javi, who was a technician in a theatre show I was performing in. He and the stage manager, Taylor, introduced me to the world of webcomics. It blew my mind that comics didn’t have to be printed to be shared. Thus, I decided to keep drawing them.

I loved making people laugh and I really loved drawing. Bringing the two together is what makes me happy.

I eventually graduated high school and realized that to reach a broader audience, I would have to focus less on inside jokes and more on general humor. With everyday life, it wasn’t hard to find the little things that made it humorous.

Now, here I am nearly ten years later still drawing and still hoping I bring a smile to everyone’s face with my silly drawings and jokes.
